AIR SEED METER WITH ADJUSTABLE SINGULATOR

A seed metering system (20), for use on a row crop planter, selects individual seeds from a seed reservoir (26) and dispenses the seeds singularly at a controlled rate. A direct drive seed metering system (20) includes a seed disc (22) having a plurality of suction apertures (54) with a recessed pocket adjacent to an aperture. The recessed pockets (91) act to agitate seeds in the seed reservoir (26) and to direct seed flow towards the apertures (54). An adjustable seed singulator (111) is mounted adjacent to the face of the seed disc (22) where inner and outer blades (112, 113) are adjusted radially to compensate for the singulation of various seed sizes and shapes.
