The present invention provides a sentiment-based query processing system that includes: an index building unit dividing one or more documents into one or more segments, extracting an aspect keyword representing an aspect which the object of an opinion expressed in the segment has and a segment keyword representing the sentiment of a person who prepares a document so as to create an aspect-sentiment pair, and building an index including the content of the segment and the aspect-sentiment pair; an index storage unit storing the index; and a query processing unit processing a query based on the index stored in the index storage unit searching for and returning a document expressing an opinion related to the query or an object expressed by the opinion related to the query.
