METHOD OF COOLING A STERILIZER Cooling of a jacketed autoclave or steam sterilizer (1) is carried out by allowing a film of water (14) to flow down the inner wall of the sterilizer's jacket :pace (3). 5 Condensate from the jacket space (3) is drawn into the water ring pump (10) provided for vacuum in the autoclave jacket (3). The condensate is conducted to the vater side of the pump while the normal suction line is connected at the pump to the gas 2one.
