PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system and a settlement terminal, capable of transmitting settlement data obtained by settlement processing to a prescribed management device, which has a configuration enabling settlement data in the settlement terminal to be transmitted to the management device by the other terminal even when abnormality occurs in the settlement terminal.SOLUTION: A settlement system 1 is configured such that an information code C registered with settlement data obtained by settlement processing is generated and output when a prescribed terminal abnormality condition is established in a settlement terminal 10 (settlement terminal 10b), and the information code C is read by the other settlement terminal 10 (settlement terminal 10a) and transmitted to an external management device (for example, an electronic money center and the like). Thereby, the settlement data of the settlement terminal 10 in which the abnormality occurs can be reliably transmitted, and the settlement data obtained by the settlement processing is coded and output, so that the security is enhanced. |
