PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene film capable of producing a capacitor having both withstand voltage characteristics such as high-temperature withstand voltage characteristics when applying a high voltage and safety preservation.SOLUTION: There is provided a polypropylene film having a thickness of 1.0 to 8.0 μm and a roughened surface which is composed mainly of a polypropylene resin having a specific molecular weight and on one surface or both surfaces of which a plurality of fine concavities and convexities are formed. When a surface shape of at least one surface is measured in the range of 240 μm×180 μm using an optical interference type non-contact surface shape measuring instrument, the total volume of protrusions having a height of 0.02 μm or more is 1000 to 4000 μmper 1 mmand the total volume of protrusions having a height of 0.3 μm or more is 1000 μmor less per 1 mm. |
