Provided is a resin composition for solar cell sealing materials, which is characterized by containing: 5-30% by weight of an ethylene-unsaturated fatty acid ester copolymer (A) that has a crystal melting peak temperature of 95-110°C as determined by differential scanning calorimetry carried out at a heating rate of 10°C/minute and that has an unsaturated fatty acid ester content of 10-23% by weight; and 95-70% by weight of one or more kinds of copolymers (B) that are selected from among ethylene-olefin random copolymers (b-1) having a crystal melting peak temperature of less than 80°C as determined in the same manner as described above and copolymers (b-2) that are obtained by copolymerizing the ethylene-olefin random copolymers (b-1) and an alkoxy silane having a polymerizable functional group.
