<p>The invention relates to a device for the semi-automated assembly of rear suspension springs onto a raised body of a vehicle in a motor vehicle production line. Said device includes a compression carriage (10) onto which spring compression means are mounted, a guiding rail (20) oriented along the axis Y of the vehicle being assembled, a slidable housing (40) capable of sliding along the guiding rail (20), and a pantograph system (30) formed by two rigid and parallel rods hingedly connected to the slidable housing (40) and to the compression carriage (10). Accordingly, the compression carriage (10) can be moved such that the orientation of the first turn of the spring is ensured when assembling the springs onto a vehicle. The invention is useful in the field motor vehicles and for mounting rear suspension springs onto motor vehicles.</p> |
