IMAGE PICK-UP DEVICE AND MICROSCOPE SYSTEM

In order to provide an image pick-up device that can acquire the phase distribution data of a transparent sample only by connecting to the optical output ports of a microscope, one embodiment of this image pick-up device connects to the optical output ports of a microscope. The image pick-up device is provided with the following: a branching means for branching the image forming luminous flux from the microscope into two branched luminous fluxes; an interference means for generating interference fringe in which one of the two branched luminous fluxes is made a reference flux and the other is made an object flux; and an image pick-up means for generating a fringe image by picking up an image of the interference fringe.
