This wheel height adjustment apparatus has: a housing secured to the external cylinder of a shock damper, and having a jack chamber formed to the inside; a spring guide for supporting one end of a suspension spring for energizing the shock damper in the expansion direction; and a jack piston arranged to the anti-suspension spring side of the spring guide, inserted in extendably retractable fashion to inside of the housing, and blocking the suspension spring of the jack chamber; and provided with a moveable spring bearing moveable in the axial direction of the shock damper, a pump for intake and discharge of working fluid to the jack chamber, and an auxiliary spring for energizing the moveable spring bearing towards the suspension spring side. The load of the auxiliary spring is set to one that is always lower than the load of the suspension spring.
