The method involves determining position information with respect to actual position of a vehicle (100), and determining an object (120) located within an area around the actual position of the vehicle based on the position information. Relative position between the object and the actual position of the vehicle is determined based on positioning signal (132) reflected by the object, where the signal represents a signal sent by the actual position. The position information is corrected with respect to the actual position based on the position information and the relative position.
