PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection device which is advantageous in improving the moisture resistance of a scintillator layer and the firmness of a sealing part.SOLUTION: There is provided a radiation detection device which has a first substrate member, a second substrate member, and a sealing part connecting ends of both the substrates to each other, one of both the substrates being a sensor panel which has a photoelectric conversion element and the other being a scintillator panel having a scintillator layer. The sealing part includes a first sealing resin having a first coefficient of elasticity, a second sealing resin having a second coefficient of elasticity lower than the first coefficient of elasticity, and a stress relaxation part having a third coefficient of elasticity lower than the second coefficient of elasticity and relaxing stress acting on the first sealing resin and second sealing resin. The first sealing resin connects an end of the first substrate member and a first plane of the stress relaxation part on the side of the first substrate member, the stress relaxation part connects with an end of the second substrate member through a second plane on the opposite side from the first plane, and the second sealing resin connects the end of the second substrate member and the first sealing resin to each other to cover a side face between a first plane and a second plane of the stress relaxation part. |
