FOAM WATERPROOF MATERIAL HAVING FINE CELL STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof material having excellent waterproofness and has excellent flexibility that allows tracking of a still finer clearance.SOLUTION: A foam waterproof material is structured with a foam body formed through a process of decompression after impregnating a high-pressure inert gas to a composition including a thermoplastic polymer and a shrinkage inhibitor. The foam body has a fine cell structure with an average cell diameter of 10-60μm and apparent density of 0.01-0.050 g/cm. A repulsive load of the foam body when compressed to 0.1 mm (repulsive force when compressed to 0.1 mm) is 0.01-0.1 MPa. Water pressure resistance of the foam body (JIS L 1092 B method; thickness of the foam body is 0.5 mm) is 40 kPa or more.
