<p>In order to supply an iron-based sintered alloy vane that is light-weight, capable of being applied to a rotary compressor, and for which vacancies are not in communication even without sealing treatment, low specific gravity compound particles with density of no greater than 5.5 g/cm3 are dispersed in a sintered body consisting mainly of iron so as to acquire a sintered body of lighter weight while maintaining sintered body strength, and communication of vacancies therein is prevented by increasing the sinterability of the iron matrix.</p> |
