<p>An cold medicament comprising the following constituents: Ephedra, Paeonia lactiflora, Bupleurum, Astragalus, Angelica sinensis, and Chinese parsnip, where the mass ratio of the constituents is: Ephedra:Paeonia lactiflora:Bupleurum:Astragalus:Angelica sinensis:Chinese parsnip = 3:2:2:1:2:4, and the constituents are dried medicinal herbs sold in pharmacies. Also provided is a preparation method for the cold medicament: mixing together the constituents according to the ratio, then soaking by adding water, where the advisable volume of water is to allow the medicinal herbs to be submerged, soaking for 20 minutes then adding water for the second time, where the volume of water added in the second time is half of the volume of water added in the first time, bringing to a boil with a roaring fire then decocting for 20 minutes with a simmering fire, and removing herbal dregs to acquire the medicament. Compared with occidental medicaments, the cold medicament is free of toxic side effects, provides great anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects, significant treatment effects, and reduced treatment costs.
