The module (1) has a front wall (22) i.e. push plate, connecting side walls (23a, 23b), and a bus bar comprising a battery module terminal (92) by which the battery module is electrically connected. A battery cell terminal is connected with terminal parts (11, 12) i.e. screw connections, of cuboid battery cells (10). The bus bar comprises a connection section, which is electrically connected to the module terminal and the cell terminal. The connection section is fixed at the battery module such that the battery module terminal is mechanically decoupled by the battery cell terminal.
