Vehicle brake comprising an electromechanic actuator

The actuator has a screw and nut mechanism with a nut (11) driven by an electric motor (21). An anti-rotation unit prevents rotation of a screw (12) of the mechanism such that the screw is linearly displaced in response to the motor rotation. The actuator is subdivided into a component (10) comprising the mechanism and another component (20) comprising the motor. The components are separable while the actuator is mounted on a brake. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an aircraft brake (B) a brake maintenance method.
