<p>The invention relates to an information system for collecting the traffic data and distributing them in real time to various drivers or other users. According to the invention, the system uses an application consisting in collecting in real time, the data concerning the road traffic via Intermet from the drivers' mobile phones, from other users connected to a computer graphic application and from other external information systems, respectively, via a data transmission system by means of a pre-established protocol, the collected data relating to: the number of cars on certain road sections, the average travelling speed in each direction, roadworks or other events which can influence the road traffic; this information being validated and distributed in real time via SMS to drivers on a subscription basis and via Internet, to : drivers that use a GPS navigation application on the mobile phone, other users that can access a graphic application on a computer, other information systems via a data service with pre-established protocol.</p> |
