A system and a method for periodically managing a DM client are provided to minimize a network load for the periodic polling by defining a new message when using a periodic polling. A DM client(100) checks a polling period by using a timer. If the polling period is done, the DM client transmits the DM action check message to a DM server(200) for checking whether the DM action exists in the DM server. If the DM action check message is received, the DM server check whether the DM action for a client exists. If the DM action for the client does not exist, the DM server transmits the response message to inform that the DM management action does not exist in response to the DM action check message. |
