The invention relates to metering devices, namely to metering devices for inhaling powdery substances, in particular of medicinal type.The metering device (1) is activated by the suction airflow of the user for inhaling a powdery substance (2). The powdery substance (2) is arranged in a supply chamber (15) and can be brought out of the supply chamber into an apparent discharge standby position (B) by means of a metering chamber (40) of a metering rod (33). The metering chamber (40) is sealed off with a piston (54), made in the upper zone in the form of a disk. The piston is provided with piston-extensible tabs (77) for sealing off the metering chamber (40) or a plurality of metering chambers into an apparent discharge standby position, which open the metering chamber (40) when the piston (54) is displaced by the suction airflow of the user. |
