The present invention provides a device and a method for drying peppers using an electrothermal mat, in which an electrothermal mat is conveniently installed in a plastic greenhouse to dry peppers and to uniform the quality so as to be able to obtain dry peppers with an excellent quality. The pepper drying device using an electrothermal mat of the present invention includes a plastic greenhouse with an exhaust fan, a support stand put on the floor of the plastic greenhouse, an electrothermal mat radiating heat with the electric power supplied to the upper surface of the support stand, a dry net fixed to the upper surface of the electrothermal mat, a cover material covering the upper part of the peppers placed on the dry net, and a control unit controlling the heating temperature of the electrothermal mat and the exhaust fan. The present invention has effects of obtaining dry peppers with a uniform quality by uniformly applying the process of drying peppers in multiple farms, of obtaining dry peppers dried to have the moisture content of 20% or less, and of drying peppers within a short period, which increases the income of farmers. |
