Disclosed is an energy dissipation type friction damper. The energy dissipation type friction damper according to the present invention comprises a first shear plate, which has a 1-1 winding hole and a 1-2 winding hole formed apart from each other toward an external force; a second shear plate, which is closely combined with the first shear plate to have a friction surface and has a 2-1 winding hole corresponding to the 1-1 winding hole and a 2-2 winding hole corresponding to the 1-2 winding hole apart from the 1-1 winding hole and the 1-2 winding hole respectively toward the external force; a first shape-memory alloy wire, which combines the 1-1 winding hole and the 2-2 winding hole; and a second shape-memory alloy wire, which combines the 1-2 winding hole and the 2-2 winding hole. When any relative movement occurs between the first shear plate and the second shear plate, a restoring force is generated in one of the first shape-memory alloy wire and the second shape-memory alloy wire by tensile strain. According to the present invention, when the energy dissipation type friction damper is installed, the binding power of a clamping hole, which binds the first shear plate to the second shear plate, can be adjusted by using a torque wrench, so the resistance of a friction damper can be easily adjusted. Also, the length of a first combining hole and the length of a second combining hole are variably formed and the displacement of the friction damper can be adjusted by exchanging a slider, so the amount of energy absorption of the friction damper can be easily adjusted. |
