The hinge pin (4) has a longitudinal axis and two longitudinal portions (7,8), where the former longitudinal portion is formed for the insertion in a recess of an object. The latter longitudinal portion is formed for fixing the hinge pin to a supporting device. A lateral surface of the former longitudinal portion is formed around the longitudinal axis in a rotational-symmetric manner. The meridian of the lateral surface has a curvature facing the longitudinal axis.
