The present invention relates to a device cooperation service which provides additional content related to streaming content viewed through a smart TV for adjacent devices in a smart home environment in which various smart devices exist. Provided are a service system and a method thereof, wherein the service system searches devices adjacent to a smart TV when a user watches streaming content by using the smart TV, and differentially provides additional content (video, audio, and image) related to the streaming content by using the network status and performance (resolution, process, memory) of the searched devices and information (sex, age, and job) on the user of the devices.
