A shroud 12 for covering telecommunications equipment 22 on a mast 14 is movable between a first configuration and a second configuration where it covers the equipment. The first configuration may be when the shroud is collapsed. A setting mechanism is used to set the shroud in the second configuration. The setting mechanism may operate prior to installation on the mast, or as it is connected. The body of the shroud may be formed from a flexible material such as fabric and may be waterproof and wind resistant. The body of the shroud may comprise an antenna. The shroud may be provided with illumination and may carry advertising. The setting mechanism may be in the form of inflation of the shroud, or by the application of a setting force. The shroud may extend axially along the mast when moving from the first to the second configurations. |
