It is an object of the present invention to provide in real time, to a user, an overhead view video in which a parking space is displayed on a display screen, even if a vehicle is moved. A parking assistance system (1) includes a parking target position detection section (34) that detects a parking target position for parking the vehicle from a first overhead view video; a viewpoint position determination section (34) that determines a viewpoint position; a rotation amount determination section (34) that determines a rotation amount; a viewpoint conversion table creation section (35) that creates a viewpoint conversion table for rotating the first overhead view video on the basis of the viewpoint position and the rotation amount; and a second overhead view video generation section (36) that generates a second overhead view video from the first overhead view video on the basis of the viewpoint conversion table. |
