The invention relates to an installation for decontaminating and treating the used water from a dental unit. According to the invention, the installation consists of a closed and divided recipient (1) having in the median part a wall (3) which separates the recipient (1) into two semi-recipients (1a and 1b) provided with some baffle pans (2) allowing an air-ozone mixture (8) to be injected into a first set of decontamination activation cells, followed by supplementing the decontamination by means of some ultraviolet lamps (10), in a second set of activation cells, before being discharged into the sewage system.
