WI-FI P2P COMMUNICATION TERMINAL DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed is a terminal device. The device includes a Wi-Fi module which is operating in a Wi-Fi station mode by being connected to an access point; and a control unit. The control unit blocks the connection with the access point, selects multiple channels successively, and performs a search operation through each channel when a Wi-Fi P2P function is executed. The control unit repeatedly executes an operation for reconnection with the access point. The control unit controls the Wi-Fi module to perform a listen operation for receiving a signal transmitted from an external device and responding to the signal when the external device which will perform Wi-Fi P2P communication by the search operation is found. Therefore, the device can search for the external device which wants Wi-Fi P2P connection while minimizing the performance degradation in the Wi-Fi station mode.
