<p>The piece according to the invention considerably optimizes both polishing quality and cost. The upper part of the piece is designed to be attached to heads (2) arranged radially inside a rotary disc (9), while the lower part thereof receives an abrasive-material insert (3). The piece comprises at least three layers (4, 6, 7), namely: an upper layer (4) including a central trapezoidal projection (5) for the dovetail connection thereof to the head (2), an intermediate layer (6) disposed beneath the upper layer (4) and designed to render the multi-layer piece (1) flexible, and a lower layer (7) which is located beneath the intermediate layer (6) and includes a trapezoidal recess (8) for the dovetail connection thereof to the above-mentioned abrasive-material insert (3).</p> |
