The invention relates to a dog clutch (1) for connecting a drive shaft of a motor vehicle engine to a unit arranged downstream in the drive train, in particular a torsional vibration damper, torque converter or gearbox clutch. The dog clutch is provided with a torque-inducing input hub (10) that can be connected to the drive shaft and an output hub (20) for disengaging the torque that can be connected to the downstream unit, wherein the input hub comprises at least one input element (12) for transmitting the torque in the circumferential direction to at least one output element (22) of the output hub. The dog clutch is characterised by a blocking element (30) which presses or is pressed between opposite flanks (14, 24) of the input and output elements in order to produce a backlash-free connection in the circumferential direction between the input hub and the output hub. |
