<p>An apparatus, and an associated method, facilitates user understanding of the audio component of media that is played back at a device having media player functionality. Responsive to detection of user selection, a portion of the audio component of the media is converted into textual, or other, form to provide a converted-form representation of the audio component portion. The representation is displayed to the user. The representation is further translatable into a second language, and the translated, representation is displayed to the user.
