<p>Device for pleating wraps containing food products in a continuous production line, where said device forms part of an arrangement for wrapping bakery products, said arrangement has a station for supplying a continuous strap of a material for surrounding or wrapping the bakery products which are transported over a conveyor belt while the strap is longitudinally sealed in a continuous manner, forming therefore a tubular element containing finite sections of said food product, the tubular element being moved forward in a continuous manner towards a station for pleating the transversal areas thereof while being sealed and cut, defining thus the packages with a determined content of the food product, the pleating action of the tubular element being carried out by pneumatic means arranged close to the means for sealing and cutting the tubular element supplied to the pleating, sealing and cutting area of the corresponding arrangement.</p> |
