Method for distributing electrical power to electrical outlets in a transport vehicle

The method involves supplying electric current to an electrical outlet (18) not connected to a personal electronic device (20) upon reception of distribution request from the outlet. Instantaneous electric current intensity supplied to all outlets is determined and compared with a maximum threshold. The outlet supplying highest cumulative intensity electric current is selected if the intensity is greater than the threshold. The supply of current to the outlet is terminated, and selection and termination steps are applied while continuing supply of the current to the outlet. An independent claim is also included for a computer program stored on an information storage medium comprising a set of instructions to perform a method for distributing electric current from a power source to electrical outlets in a transport vehicle.
