The nozzle (1) comprises nozzle walls (3,6,7) whose inner section is arranged with a turbulence and/or swirl-generating structure (4) which projects radially from the nozzle walls to the inside and/or on the outer side of the nozzle walls. Another turbulence and/or swirl-generating structure (5) is arranged in the inner section of nozzle walls, by projecting radially towards the outside from the outer side of walls. The heights (h1,h2) of the swirl-generating structures in the radial direction depend on the boundary layer thickness of a local jet flow through the nozzle. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a structural element for assembly on inner side or outer side of nozzle wall of nozzle such as outlet nozzle of aircraft jet engine; and (2) a method for producing a nozzle. |
