The apparatus has a support (4) formed with two angularly bent conditioning plates (5) that are matched dimensionally to an inner wall (7) of an installation box (2). The conditioning plates have contact surfaces (6) to rest on a mouth side of a can body and/or on a surface of an installation wall. The conditioning plates are formed to an outer edge portion of the support. The conditioning plates are associated with a retaining spring (9) that is fastened on the support and supported under spring action against the inner wall of the installation box.
