A stabilising frame for the top of a ladder is fabricated from aluminium. It consists of a frame having a crossbar. At each end of the cross bar is a leg. The legs are angled so as to counteract the angle of the ladder when it is leant against a structure. Threaded bolts with turnable handles may be formed in the legs. Rubber foot plates may be mounted on ball joints at the ends of the legs. The frame may be attached to the ladder by hooks for mounting to the rungs or by a spring loaded clamp. |
