A first embodiment of the invention relates to a separator for separating sand and rock particles during the extraction of liquids or gases from rock bores. Said separator comprises a plurality of stacked, annular disks of a brittle hard material which disks are axially braced by means of a supporting structure and have at least three spacers on top which are evenly distributed across the circumference of the disks. The disks are stacked in such a manner that the spacers lie on top of each other and that a respective separating gap having a height of from 0.05 to 1 mm, preferably 0.2 to 0.5 mm separates the individual disks. A second embodiment of the invention relates to a separator for separating sand and rock particles during the extraction of liquids or gases from rock bores. Said separator comprises a plurality of stacked, sleeve-type elements of a brittle hard material which elements are axially braced by means of a supporting structure, the sleeve-type elements comprising slots having a slot width of from 0.05 to 1 mm, preferably 0.2 to 0.5 mm. |
