The invention relates to a competitive metal construction for supporting the underground excavations, namely the mine drifts, with the role of opening and preparing the deposits of useful mineral substances, in order to subsequently extract and use them. According to the invention, the metal construction comprises some metal elements which are made of some rolled profiles (1, 2), which are joined together by making contact both between the flanks (shoulders) and at the neck level, in the recesses made for this purpose, at the base thereof, the metal elements also comprising a round collar (3) and a flat clip (4) or flange, which are clamped to one another by means of some nuts (5), providing an efficient and permanent contact of the profiles at the joint level, while making the contact between the shoulder of the clip (4) with the lower rolled element, in the recesses made at the level of the neck thereof.
