The invention relates to a process for preparing the product 6-carboxyl cellulose for biomedical applications. According to the invention, the process consists in oxidizing a viscose-type cellulosic fibre mixture within a mixture of distilled water and acetonitrile in a ratio of 1:1, N-hydroxyphthalimide and ammonia cerium hexanitrate, at the ambient temperature, for 96 hours, after which the treated fibres are filtered, washed and dried under vacuum for 48 hours, to finally obtain the product 6-carboxyl cellulose of a polymerization degree of about 285 and high purity.
|
