The present invention relates to a speed sensor (1) comprising a first magnetic transducer (3) with a first magnetic probe (30) that is connected to an electronic circuit for conversion of an output analog signal to a digital signal. Exceeding the upper and lower limits of output voltage values from the first magnetic probe (30) causes transformation of the first analog signal to a first digital signal, whereby said limit values are self-adjustable relative to the upper and lower peaks of the analog signal. The first magnetic probe (30) is situated opposite to the south pole of a first magnet (31). The speed sensor further comprises a second magnetic transducer (4) with a second magnetic probe (40) that is also connected to an electronic circuit for conversion of its second output analog signal to a second digital signal. Exceeding the upper and lower limits of output voltage values from the second magnetic probe (40) causes transformation of the second analog signal to a second digital signal, whereby said limit values are self-adjustable relative to the upper and lower peaks of the analog signal. The second magnetic probe (40) is situated opposite to the north pole of a second magnet (41). The invention is characterized in that the spacing (R) of axes (O3 and O4) of both the magnetic probes (30 and 40) is equal to or less than the width (S) of tooth (201) of the sensed toothed wheel (20) or the width of a magnetic mark of a sensed disk. |
