The device (1) has two or multiple clasp elements (14) i.e. clamping legs, arranged facing each other. A sealing profile (30) is received between the clasp elements in an initial position. The clasp elements are transferred from the initial position to an end position by external force and transmit the external force to the sealing profile in the end position. The clasp elements are arranged within a carrier device (10) e.g. tension spring. An external force producing component (12) is arranged between the carrier device and the clasp elements. The external force producing component is designed as a resilient container i.e. air cushion, or an electromagnet.
