The present invention relates to a waterproof type expansion joint for a bridge which corresponds to an expansion movement of first and second slabs of a bridge structure and prevents penetration of road water through the first and second slabs to thereby exclude a water collecting part. The waterproof type expansion joint in the bridge according to an embodiment of the present invention includes first and second expansion joints (10, 20) respectively mounted on finger supporting jaws (1a, 2a) of first and second slabs (1, 2) of which opposed end portions are spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval, wherein the second expansion joint comprises a fixed part which is fixed after being seated on the finger supporting jaw (2a) formed at an end portion of the second slab and second fingers (22) which protrude from the fixed part and are spaced apart from one another at predetermined intervals, and the first expansion joint is fixed on the first slab, covers an interval between the first and second slabs to prevent penetration of road water into the interval between the first and second slabs and comprises a stopping part (11) supported on the floor part of the second slab to be able to slide and first fingers (12) which are formed on the stopping part and are spaced apart from one another at predetermined intervals and respectively accommodated between the second fingers. The waterproof type expansion joint may comprise a water stop (50) which is mounted on the floor of the first slab or the second slab in the width direction of the first and second slabs to prevent penetration of road water through the interval between the first and second slabs.
