The present invention relates to an apparatus for collecting dust of an electric furnace, which includes: a dust collecting unit for collecting and removing dust from a fluid discharged from the electric furnace; a blowing unit for generating suction force by rotating blades in order to discharge the fluid from the electric furnace; an adjusting unit for adjusting the rotational speed of the blades in order to adjust an amount of the fluid discharged from the electric furnace according to work information of a process performed by the electric furnace among charging, dissolution and tapping processes; a stand-by dust collecting unit for collecting and removing the dust from the fluid discharged from the electric furnace; and a first switching device to switch the moving path of the fluid discharged from the electric furnace so that the fluid discharged from the electric furnace is moved to the dust collecting unit or the stand-by collecting unit according to first operating information of whether the dust collecting unit is operated normally. According to the present invention, even if problems such as the failure in the dust collecting unit occur, dust can be continuously collected and removed from the fluid discharged from the electric furnace. Accordingly, the rate of operation of the electric furnace can be improved. The rotational speed of the blades is adjusted according to the process performed by the electric furnace among charging, dissolution and tapping processes, so that power consumption for rotating the blades can be reduced. |
