The present invention relates to a wheel buffering and height controlling apparatus for a hay collector. According to the present invention, the height of a main wheel is adjusted when the main wheel of the hay collector that is towed and operated by a tractor for gathering rice straws rolls over an uneven path formed on a rice field, and the wheel buffering and height controlling apparatus is operated when a shock is transferred to the main wheel to buffer the shock, which prevents a customary damage incurred to components such as a hay collecting spring tine, thereby improving the hay collecting function. Moreover, a shock detecting sensor senses the shock generated from an outer circumference of a vertical movable rod when the main wheel passes through the uneven path formed on the rice field, subsequently moving a hydraulic rod vertically to adjust the height of the main wheel; and the generated shock can be buffered using a buffering unit, thereby offering an effect of improving a buffer power even against minor shock. |
