A portable terminal and a call connection function executing method thereof are provided to use a voice call function through the portable terminal without being influenced by the environment by selecting a noise eliminating mode according to the surround conditions. An audio processor(120) comprises a tone extracting unit(121), a pitch extracting unit(123), a sound intensity extracting unit(125) and a timing extracting unit(127). The tone extracting unit detects a tone signal from an inputted sound signal, the pitch extracting unit detects a pitch signal from the inputted sound signal, the sound intensity extracting unit detects all signals corresponding to a sound intensity parameter from the inputted sound signal, and the timing extracting unit detects all signals corresponding to a timing parameter from the inputted sound signal. |
