<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for producing liquid ice, made up of a central tube (1) made of a material that is a good heat conductor, through which a freezable liquid is circulated, said central tube (1) being surrounded by a thermally insulating outer jacket (2), with a space (3) remaining between the latter and the central tube (1), wherein a liquid coolant is injected under pressure, which evaporates by expansion causing heat absorption that leads to the formation of ice microstructures in the liquid circulating through the central tube (1), the inside of said central tube (1) comprising a paddle mixer (8) which stirs the liquid in order to prevent the ice microstructures from adhering to the wall of the tube.</p> |
