Disclosed in the present invention is a digital rain gauge for accurately measuring the rain fall and, more particularly, to a digital rain gauge having an automatic calibration function according to the degree of the rain fall, which comprises: a slit unit for the inflow of the rain fall; a bucket unit which receives the rain fall discharged from the slit unit through a hopper unit in order to be filled and where conduction occurs according to the filling; a conduction sensing unit which senses the number of conduction according to the conduction when the conduction occurs in the bucket unit, and generates different conduction velocity signals according to the sensed number of conduction; and a digital calculating unit which stores the conduction velocity signals generated by the conduction sensing unit, and calculates by applying error calibration coefficients differently from each of the conduction velocity signals. Therefore, the digital rain gauge having an automatic calibration function can automatically reflect a calibration coefficient according to the number of conduction in order to automatically calibrate inaccuracy due to the shortage or excessiveness of the rain fall, thereby increasing the accuracy of the rain fall.
