The present invention relates to an apparatus for draining moisture outwardly from a fuel tank of a vehicle. The apparatus includes a base attached to the bottom surface of the fuel tank and having a discharge hole at a center thereof; a cylinder having a body having a hollow discharge space and connected to an upper portion of the base, an inlet channel connected to the discharge space for receiving moisture or alien substances, and a discharge pipe provided at the wall surface of the discharge space and having an inlet formed in the wall surface of the inlet channel and an outlet formed at the wall surface of the discharge space; a float connected to the discharge space of the cylinder and having a body and a rod protruding upward from the body and inserted into the inlet channel; and a spring installed in the discharge space of the cylinder to provide the float with the elastic force, with one end coming into contact with the bottom surface of the float and the other end coming into contact with the base. |
