LOCAL GRINDING DEVICE AND METHOD OF RESISTANCE WELDING MACHINE

The present invention relates to local grinding device and method for a resistance welding machine. More specifically, the present invention is to locally grind a surface to be welded using a grinding device before a lead is welded on a body of an MO part used in a magnetron. The present invention can grind in the same conditions because a grinder moves forward in a grinding process to maintain the pressure of making a shock absorber move forward. When the grinding process is completed, a transporter which moved forward to an electrode chuck to weld the body of the MO part moves backward. The transporter moving backward is contact with a grinder holder plate of a grinding unit so that the grinding unit can be moved backward by the force of the transporter. The transporter positioned in front of a chute moves forward to do welding again with the ground body of the MO part. When the transporter is moved forward by the force of a spring, the grinding unit moves forward and stops at a right position in front of the chute by a stopper to do the next grinding process; thereby enabling continuous production. Thus, the present invention can improve weldability by removing an oxide coating layer to form roughness while grinding at the same times as the existing production.
