The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device, particularly, to a liquid crystal display device capable of preventing a color washout which occurs in neighboring pixels as having a high aperture ratio. The feature of the present invention is to further form a color filter pattern of a different wavelength range having transmittance different from a neighboring color filter on an upper part of a black matrix positioned between the neighboring color filters of a color filter substrate of the liquid crystal display device. Accordingly, transmittance corresponding to the wavelength of light incident on a neighboring pixel area according to a specific viewing angle may be selectively reduced, thereby preventing the color washout which occurs in the neighboring pixels. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the deterioration of display quality of the liquid crystal display device such as the deterioration of color gamut of the liquid crystal display device. In addition, the color washout is prevented, thereby improving even the reliability of a process itself and a manufacturing yield of the liquid crystal display device.
