The present invention relates to an on/off valve comprising a body which includes an inlet, an outlet, and an insertion hole extending to a flow passage between the inlet and the outlet to be connected to the flow passage; a handle which is inserted into the insertion hole at the top of the body, which has a one-way through-hole at the bottom, and which selectively opens or closes the flow passage between the inlet and the outlet according to the rotation direction of the handle; and a shaft which is inserted into the body from the outside through the inlet and which comes in contact with the handle to selectively open or close the inlet according to the rotation direction of the handle. Therefore, the on/off valve completely blocks water leaks by preventing the handle from being pushed up by backflow pressure as the shaft engaged with the handle is installed at the inlet. |
